Olá!
I’m Alexandra, a storyteller inspired by history, myths, and culture.

Over 30 years ago, I moved to Lisbon after spending my childhood in Switzerland. Exploring different cultures, learning new languages, and traveling revealed my true passion: living as a full-time wanderer.
Living in this stunning country and region has turned that dream into a reality.

To be an exceptional host, local expert, or guide, deep knowledge of my region’s history, traditions, and culture is key. I’m proud to embody all these roles—guide by profession, local expert by passion, and host by empathy.

Since 2013, I have fully dedicated myself to this calling, establishing my own company XPLORATOUR and collaborating with other trained guides. Together, we welcome every traveler as if they were family or close friends.

Travel is a time for relaxation and discovery, and I strive to make our journey both enjoyable and enriching. By sharing just the right amount of knowledge, I ensure you can immerse yourself in new cultures and stories without ever feeling overwhelmed.

We toured Sintra and Cascais and while the weather was... read more a little rainy this did not stop the tour. Alexandra was able to pivot and work around the rain so we got to see all of the sights in the car and on foot. She was open to questions and good conversation and expertly translated from French to English to meet the group’s  needs. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a really great way to spend the day and see the sights outside of Lisbon.
